Some things in life never change. And there are some things in life which recur.
22nd April 2008!! As I embark upon a new phase in my educational career, memories of the very first day at my engineering college hit me hard. It was a similar morning in August 2000 when I stepped into MITM, Indore to realise my dream to become an engineer and here I was stepping into Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai to forget that I am an engineer. But again there is a dream to become a manager. Once again I walked into a campus consisting of makeshift classrooms with necessary furniture where you are cramped for space. The similarity were the peers who were extremely high on enthusiasm sharing similar dream of becoming successful managers and entrepreneurs. There were some anxious faces who were looking out for people to share their anxiety and others trying to unwind their sweat glands which were stretching themselves to the limit since arrival at Chennai.
I landed up in a city (Chennai) which I least wanted to and never dreamt of. A city which would have been my last option to fall back on and it was. But thats the way life goes. There are few things you chase hard and few things which chase you.
